It all started with a vision of great coffee meeting great food, and doing so using as much of the local California products as possible. Jarosz and the Crabbe’s own multiple businesses locally in Sacramento, a community they love, and are great believers in leveraging the wealth of fresh produce that northern California has to offer.
When given the opportunity to participate in the State Capitol bid, they saw this as the perfect time to bring their vision to fruition. Statehouse Café, Rush Coffee and (soon) The Well at the Capitol were born.
Statehouse is a Community table. We are committed to delivering high quality, exclusively curated, artisanal foods….to educate our guests, and to promote local farms, ranches and fisheries…and to create community by bringing together the region’s diverse multi-cultural groups at one community table
We hire people who love and our passionate about what they do, and we treat them in a way that we ourselves want to be treated. That passion and respect shows in our Products and Service, ultimately fulfilling our ultimate goal…customer satisfaction.
We are firm believers in equal opportunity and supporting good causes wherever and whenever possible. We are proud of our partnerships with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and with Developmental Disabilities Service Organization (DDSO).
We currently employ refugees from the Middle East who have moved from their war torn countries for a new beginning in the Unites States. We also proud to have adults with developmental challenges as part of our wait staff. We are dedicated to training them and welcoming them into our community, they have become a part of our fabric and we look forward to expand our partnerships in the near future.
